The Garden Route in South Africa is just that, a lush 'Garden of Eden' and the golf courses that fall within this region are breathtaking. Coastal and mountain vistas, under a bright blue sky, for a Golfer it doesn't get any better. The two Golf Courses of Fancourt and Sparrebosch, are challenging. Enjoy golf courses that lay claim to international accolades and awards, in the most beautiful of surrounds.

Day 1:   Arrive George 
On arrival at George Airport, collect your rental car and make your way to your guesthouse.

This afternoon, play a round of golf at the Links Golf Course at Fancourt, home to the President's Cup in 2003 and the Woman's World Cup in 2005, for golfers staying at Fancourt Hotel only. 

Golfers staying at Protea Hotel King George enjoy a round of golf at George Golf Course. This hotel overlooks the 11th fairway of the famous George Golf Course.

Day 2:   Fancourt Country Club 
This morning play a round of golf at Fancourt Country Club (Bramble Hill). This Gary Player designed course is a demanding but fair test of your golfing skills, all set in beautiful surroundings. This afternoon we suggest a visit to Oudtshoorn, the "feather capital" of the world because of its large ostrich industry, as well as a visit to the Cango Caves, huge underground caves filled with incredible dripstone formations of stalactites and stalagmites (both activities would be for your own account).

Day 3:   Knysna 
Depart George and travel along the picturesque Garden Route to Knysna. We suggest a ferry ride across the estuary to the Featherbed Nature Reserve (own account), where you can view the "Heads", two majestic rock cliffs at the lagoon's entrance.

Day 4:   Pezula Country Club (ex Sparrebosch) 
Make your way to Pezula Country Club and enjoy a round of golf. This magnificent green was designed by Ronald Fream and David Dale of Golfplan, California.

Day 5:   Depart George 
Check out and travel to George Airport where you drop off your hired car and board your onward flight.
